John Travolta's plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Logan International Airport on Sunday after an overheated engine shut down. Travolta's private Boeing 707, carrying the star and seven others, was forced to land at 3:30 p.m. The plane's three other engines were working. It isn't clear whether or not Travolta, a licensed pilot, was flying the plane. The plane had been en route from Los Angeles to Bangor, Maine, where Travolta regularly lands when heading to his island home in Isleboro, Maine, about 30 miles south of Bangor. Reports say Travolta and company left the plane in Boston and flew home on another aircraft.
