JonBenet Grand Jury . . . Well?

Grand jurors in Boulder, Colo., investigating the slaying of child beauty pageant winner JonBenet Ramsey will reconvene Wednesday after finishing their session Tuesday without taking action on whether to issue an indictment, officials said. The grand jury of eight women and four men, whose proceedings are conducted in secret, has an Oct. 20 legal deadline to complete deliberations but is widely expected to make a decision this week. JonBenet's body was found Dec. 26, 1996, in the basement of her family's home some seven hours after her mother said she found a ransom note. The grand jury can opt to indict, not to indict or simply write a report on its view of the case.
