Madonna in Airport Incident
Police surrounded pop superstar Madonna and escorted her from a British Airways Concorde flight at London's Heathrow Airport on Sunday evening, apparently after someone had made some kind of threat against her, news reports said. About six officers and a police dog were present as Madonna stepped off the supersonic flight from New York. She was carrying her daughter, Lourdes, in her arms as she walked along airport corridors into the baggage terminal. Some 30 fans cheered as the star walked by, according to Air News, a news agency based at the airport. Madonna was due to work on a new album in London. British Airways said that, under British privacy laws, it could not discuss the situation.
