Jason on His 'Seinfeld' Cohorts

"We don't communicate that much," Jason Alexander, who played George Costanza on "Seinfeld," says of his colleagues on the departed (but still revered) sitcom. Speaking to The New York Times, Jason, whose directorial movie debut, "Just Looking," plays this weekend at the Hamptons Film Festival, says of Jerry, Julia, Michael et al: "What really bonded us was the work. And we're really separated by distance. Julia is here (in New York) and I'm here, and our life situations are similar -- she has two young children, and I have two young children. But when we were making the show, we were all never really the best of friends."
