'Real' Career Aspirations

"Real World" cast members have used the show to launch careers in show biz -- to name just two, Eric Nies from New York became a poster-boy and MTV host and Rachel Campos from San Francisco was a finalist for the co-hosting gig on "The View" -- so it's no surprise that the cast members of the Hawaii edition also have their hopes pinned on remaining in the spotlight. The series' last episode just aired and several cast members took full advantage of a promotional stop in New York on Wednesday to celebrate the high-rated season's end. Kaia (the one who enjoyed hanging around the house topless) expressed concern that viewers didn't see the whole story. "I would always want people to see more," she told PEOPLE Online. "That's why I want to stay in the public eye." Fellow cast member Teck said he already has an independent movie on his plate. "'Real World' was a launching pad for me," he said. "I'm not a star myself, but I'm an asteroid. I'm loving life right now."
