Dazed, Confused and Arrested
Actor Matthew McConaughey, well known for his role in the film "Dazed and Confused," was arrested on Sunday night in his home in Austin, Texas, following a simple noise complaint by neighbors. According to police reports, two uniformed officers were dispatched to McConaughey's suburban home shortly after 2 a.m. The arresting officer described finding a "nude, white male dancing and playing bongo drums," later identified as McConaughey, in his home with another unidentified male. He also reported finding marijuana paraphernalia inside the residence and asked "the nude male several times to put some pants on" before attempting to handcuff him and bring him to the police station. The actor, 29, was transported partially clothed and charged with resisting transportation (that is, resisting arrest). Following an overnight stay at the Travis County jail, where he wore a prison-issued grey jumpsuit, McConaughey posted $1,000 for bail and was released.
