Kelsey Under the Knife

Also recovering from appendicitis: "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer, who last weekend had been expected at a press junket for Disney's upcoming "Toy Story 2." According to the Chicago Sun-Times, when the cause of his being a no-show was discovered, Tom Hanks was sitting next to Tim Allen (both of whom star in the new movie). Hanks reportedly grabbed his stomach, scrunched up his face and squealed, "It must be catching . . . I think I've got it, too! Just think the lengths we go to to get out of talking to reporters!"
