Glenda Jackson, 63, the Oscar-winning actress ("Women in Love," "A Touch of Class") who is now a member of Britain's Parliament, had emergency surgery to remove her appendix on Saturday night. She is expected to remain in London's Lewisham Hospital for several days. "She's feeling fine," said her son, Dan Hodges. Jackson, a former deputy transport minister, is campaigning for the Labor Party's nomination for mayor of London.
