'Ally' Ready for Stage

"Ally McBeal" star Calista Flockhart will return to the stage later this month , reports Vareity. The actress, whose series recently returned with impressive ratings, will be spending her weekends in a Beverly Hills theater to perform in a series of three one-act plays, collectively known as "Bash." (Flockart starred in "Bash," from writer/director Neil LaBute ("In the Company of Men"), in an Off-Broadway production last summer.) Also coming up for Flockhart: she'll be seen in the upcoming ensemble "Things You Can Tell Just By Looking at Her" with Glenn Close, Cameron Diaz and Holly Hunter, recently picked up by MGM.
