With 45 shopping days to Christmas, forecasters are already predicting what the hot holiday items will be, reports the Associated Press. Among the things on many shopping lists: Sega's new system, Pokémon merchandise, "Austin Powers" teeth, "Sleepy Hollow" action figures and "Toy Story 2" toys. And with the millennium's end near, books on Y2K and the millennium will also be hot items, along with Michael Crichton's "Timeline." No mention of whether sales are expected to jump on Prince's "1999" single.
