Director Kevin Smith's new film "Dogma" has received two thumbs down from many Catholics. USA Today reports that although picketers aren't crowding sidewalks outside of theaters that are showing the film, the Catholic League of Religious and Civil Rights is waging a war against the movie in the media. Smith, a practicing Catholic, has defended his religious satire, in which stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck play fallen angels, and Alannis Morissette appears as God.
