In a rare public appearance scheduled for Monday, veteran funny man Bob Hope, 96, will turn on the holiday lights throughout the park at California's Disneyland. "We figured if we could kick off Christmas with somebody of that stature, why not?" Disneyland spokesman Tom Brocato said. Dolores Hope, 90, who will accompany her husband to the ceremony, told The PEOPLE Daily: "They were so nice to ask, we couldn't say no." She also said she doubted that she and Bob would hop any rides. As it is, the Indiana Jones Adventure -- the most popular ride in the place -- is momentarily closed for refurbishment.
