Jar Jar Returns
Director George Lucas and 20th Century Fox will give an early holiday gift to local charities when they re-release "Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace" in theaters for one week starting December 3. The movie, which was the summer's biggest box office hit (grossing $427 million domestically), will be shown in about 350 cities across the U.S. and Canada, with money from ticket sales going to some 177 charities.
