Stallone: Help Wanted

Sylvester Stallone has been sued by five former household employees who worked for him for only six days before being fired. The five cooks and cleaners, hired to work for 15 days over the holidays in 1995, are seeking more than $1.5 million. They said they were told by Stallone's wife, Jennifer Flavin, that they could be fired if they looked directly into the actor's eyes or talked to his mother. They were also to "back out and vanish immediately" whenever Stallone entered the room. The workers say that Jackie Stallone, Sly's mother, gave each of the employees a pen and an autographed photo of herself for Christmas. According to court papers filed by the five, Flavin accused them of stealing and fired them for speaking to her. Martin Singer, the Stallones' attorney, called the suit "purely fictional. They were fired for absolute cause. They didn't perform the work as requested."
