A 'Gilligan' Christmas

Castoffs from TV's most famous shipwrecked castaway are going on the auction block for charity on Dec. 18. Bob Denver, who played gawky Gilligan in the still-popular '60s sitcom "Gilligan's Island," is donating personalized items from the show to benefit the Bluefield Union Mission in West Virginia, where he now lives. Among Denver's donations: a "Gilligan's Island" play school set and autographed denim shorts worn by actress Dawn Wells, who portrayed Mary Ann. "I think it's a good cause," Denver told the Associated Press. "It goes right to the local people."
