Reese Makes 'Friends'

Fresh from her ferociously funny performance as the Richard Nixon-ish co-ed in this year's widescreen "Election," Reese Witherspoon, 23, will appear on NBC's "Friends" as the kid sister of the Jennifer Aniston character, say reports. Reese's gig will last for at least two episodes and is her first professional appearance since she and husband Ryan Phillippe became parents this summer. Come to think of it, Aniston's character (Rachel) has been getting a lot of "family" support on the show. Three years ago, Marlo Thomas first surfaced to play her mother.
