Tina Stays 'Proud'
Tina Turner plans to kick off her next world tour with a rendition of "Proud Mary" during the Super Bowl pre-game festivities. She'll also do a new cut, "When the Heartache Is Over," at the Jan. 30 event. "I can't go to America without performing 'Proud Mary,' " Turner, who lives in the South of France, told Hitmakers, a weekly radio industry magazine. "It's an affair with the fans, and I think it's good for those two songs to be played there, so I'm happy about it. I also really like Atlanta." Faith Hill will reportedly sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl, and Travis Tritt is also said to be performing that day.
