Jason Priestley Charged
Jason Priestley was charged Thursday with two felony counts of drunken driving following a Dec. 3 car crash, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office said. The ex-"Beverly Hills 90210" star crashed his 1999 Porsche into a power pole, trash cans and a parked car in the Hollywood Hills (just above Beverly Hills). Priestley, 30, was not hurt, but his passenger, Chad Cook, 27, suffered a broken arm. Prosecutors charged Priestley with two felony counts -- causing injury while driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit, which in California is .08%. Priestley, who was on "90210" for eight season before leaving last fall, remains free on $50,000 bail, which he posted after his arrest. If convicted on both charges, he faces a state prison term of up to three years.
