On Feb. 7 Sir Paul McCartney will join some fellow contemporary British composers to promote "A Garland for Linda," a new tribute CD to his late wife, Linda. Proceeds from the sale of the album will go to raise money for breast cancer research. (The disease claimed Linda's life in 1998.) "What happened to Linda happens to many others. We must do all we can to fight cancer," Paul wrote in the liner notes to the album, which was inspired by "A Garland for the Queen," a musical celebration of the 1953 coronation of Britain's Queen Elizabeth.
