Warren Beatty will take home a little gold on March 26. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Wednesday that the star, 62, will receive the Irving G. Thalberg Award at this year's Oscars ceremony, a lifetime achievement honor given to producers whose work reflects a "consistently high quality." Beatty is the only filmmaker nominated for Oscars in acting, writing, directing and producing for a single movie -- in his case, twice. Beatty was nominated in all four categories for "Heaven Can Wait" in 1978 and "Reds" in 1981. Past recipients of the Thalberg include Walt Disney, Alfred Hitchcock and George Lucas. Could be a big night in the Beatty household all around: the pregnant Mrs. Beatty, actress Annette Bening, is not only a likely Oscar nominee for her performance in "American Beauty," but her due date is around March 26.
