Uri Geller Vs. Pokémon
USA Today reports that psychic Uri Geller plans to sue the company behind Pokémon for nearly $100 million. The spoon-bending Geller, 53, says he will sue Nintendo, because he claims an evil character on a Pokémon card -- a pyschic named Un-Geller in Japan and Kadabra in the U.S. version who induces headaches in people -- bears his likeness. "I couldn't believe my eyes," he was quoted as saying. "The last thing I want is for a whole new generation of children to think I am or that spoon-bending is evil." Geller says he discovered his likeness while taping a TV special in Japan. "I was mobbed by kids. Some wanted my autograph and picture. Some looked quite frightened."
