Colorado prosecutors are seeking $24,000 to continue the investigation into the murder of JonBenét Ramsey, reports the Associated Press. Boulder District Attorney Alex Hunter reportedly made the funding request on Wednesday, indicating that the investigation is ongoing. Earlier this year, a grand jury was released after they found insufficient evidence to file any charges in the 1996 slaying of the six-year old girl, who was found in her family's basement the day after Christmas. So far, the county has spent some $600,000 on the investigation.
