Bail was set at $35,000 for the protégé of rapper-producer Sean "Puffy" Combs who was charged with attempted murder following a shooting incident in a New York City nightclub on Monday, according to the Associated Press. Jamal Barrow, better known by his rap name Shyne, remains in custody following his arrest. Barrow was charged with three counts of attempted murder in connection with the club shooting. It was also reported that the gun found in Combs's car after he fled the scene with girlfriend Jennifer Lopez has been identified as a 9-mm pistol reported stolen from a construction worker in suburban Atlanta this past summer. Lopez, 29, was questioned by police and released; Combs, 30, who maintains his innocence, is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 14 to face weapons charges.
