The annual post-Christmas sale at London's Harrods department store seems to be attracting a curse on celebrities chosen to kick off the shopping extravaganza. Last year, Sophia Loren was attacked during her tour by a seemingly star-struck parrot in the pet department. La Loren then took a less than gracious tumble while climbing to the press conference stage. And this year? Raquel Welch twisted her Escada-shod ankle as she was being led around the store by owner Mohamed Al Fayed. By the time it came to the traditional end-of-tour press conference, a limping Raquel was sporting a pair of sensible low-heel shoes.
