Taylor Must Behave
Football Hall of Famer -- and actor in the new hit movie "Any Given Sunday" -- Lawrence Taylor won't have to face a minor drug charge if he stays out of trouble for six months. On Wednesday in Teaneck, N.J., Municipal Judge James Young Jr. agreed to Taylor's request for a conditional discharge. Teaneck police said they found crack cocaine and a pipe in a hotel room rented under Taylor's name in 1998. The former New York Giants star was not in the room. "He was treated the same as someone who's never before been convicted of a drug offense," Taylor's lawyer, Mark Berman, told reporters. Taylor, 40, is an admitted drug abuser who has gone through rehabilitation.
