Barbra: Me, A Diva?

Barbra Streisand may have set a record for her Vegas New Year's Eve concert -- $14.7 million at the box-office -- but between the bad press she receives and the sheer jitters she develops before standing up before a crowd, fans should not expect to see her on a stage again. "This is the last time I'm going to do any kind of concert," Streisand told TV Guide following the MGM Grand show. "I don't like performing. I feel like I'm in a beauty pageant, like I'm 18 and strutting around on stage." As for the preposterous notion that she's a difficult individual: "They're making me into a diva, and I'm like this normal person. I do my own makeup. My hairdresser's been with me for 20 years. I don't know why it is that we need to denigrate, to knock down. It's so sick."
