On the subject of PEOPLE Magazine, Lucy Liu of "Ally McBeal" claims that as a youngster she never would have predicted that she would make the mag's list of the 50 Most Beautiful People. "I didn't have the whole blond flipped hair or the curves," Liu, 32, says in the upcoming issue of USA Weekend. As for her look today -- some critics claim that her Ling Woo character on "Ally" is nothing more than a perpetuation of the old Asian "Dragon Lady" stereotype -- Liu replies: "It's not just Asian groups. A lot of groups have gotten so limiting and politically correct. Ling is just a person with this personality. If you do an immigrant with an accent, that's no good. If you do something that's a strong woman, that's no good, either."
