Reeve: Super Commercial

Fans will be able to see Christopher Reeve walk this Sunday. Super Bowl fans, that is. In what is said to be a strikingly realistic sequence in a commercial for the investment company Nuveen, Reeve, shown sitting at some awards ceremony in the future, will rise from a chair and walk. The message is that "amazing" things can be accomplished with our own resources and the impact money, research and technology can have for our families, our communities and our country. The illusion was produced digitally; Reeve has been paralyzed since a 1995 horseback riding accident. The 60-second ad is set to air in the first quarter and again during the post-game.
