Robert De Niro will be honored with a lifetime achievement award and a retrospective with many of his films next month at the Berlin Film Festival. (Berlin is among the top three major international festivals, along with Cannes and Toronto.) Festival chief Moritz de Hadeln said he hopes De Niro will accept the award in person during the Feb. 9-20 festivities. Meanwhile, the International Tennis Hall of Fame will induct Martina Navratilova July 15 in Newport, R.I. In a career that stretched from 1973 until 1994, Navratilova won a record 167 singles titles and (another record) 165 doubles crowns.
