Whither Indiana Jones?

Will there be a Ford in Indiana Jones's future? "Indiana" producer George Lucas has reportedly polished off a script that Lucas himself likes, but the star of the movie action series, Harrison Ford, and its director, Steven Spielberg, have yet to approve it. "If there was a script they all loved, they would kill themselves to clear their schedules," Ford's agent, Patricia McQueeney, told USA Today. "But they can't seem to get their heads together on a script they are all enthusiastic about." In other words, it's not looking good. Meanwhile, look for Ford later this year in the thriller "What Lies Beneath." He then hopes to play Jack Ryan for the third time in the movie adaptation of novelist Tom Clancy's "The Sum of All Fears."
