Speaking of dogs, an English springer spaniel named Samantha, 5 1/2 years old, took best-in-show honors Tuesday night at the Westminster Kennel Club Show held at New York's Madison Square Garden. "I just depended on her to give me a good show, and she gave me a good show," Samantha's handler, Kellie FitzGerald, told the Associated Press. "She's going from here to be a mom," FitzGerald added. Samantha, whose formal name is Salilyn 'N Erin's Shameless, hails from Sacramento, Calif., and is owned by Carl Blain and Fran Sunseri. Last night's best-in-show title was the 50th -- and final -- one of her career.
