Letterman's Hearty Ratings
David Letterman's heart can rest easy. Boosted by his partial return to his talk show desk, "Late Show" won last week's ratings race with Dave posting his best numbers in five years. He also grabbed his biggest margin of victory over "Tonight" host Jay Leno since 1995. As Leno said to The Washington Post about the rivalry between him and Letterman, "Each show is a clear alternative to the other one, and there are people who love Dave and hate me."
