Fatherhood for Seinfeld

Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica Sklar are expecting the couple's first child. On this morning's "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee," Seinfeld pal Regis Philbin made the announcement for the couple. Philbin reported that Seinfeld phoned him on Wednesday night with the happy news and asked that he break the story on "Live!" The couple, who met at a New York City gym while Sklar was still married to her first husband, married in December after an on-and-off courtship. Last month it was reported that the New York-based couple is purchasing Billy Joel's mansion in East Hampton. The baby, due in the fall, will be the first child for both Seinfeld and Sklar.
