Montel and Wife Divorce

TV host Montel Williams and his actress wife, Grace, are divorcing after living apart since last November. "After going in separate directions for quite some time," Williams, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, said in a statement released on Monday, "Grace and I have decided to end our seven-year marriage." He said his disease had nothing to do with their divorce. (The couple appeared together on a PEOPLE cover last fall.) The Williamses have two children, Montel II, 6, and Wyntergrace, 4. The New York Post claims that yesterday, which was Grace's 36th birthday, she tossed Montel's clothes out of their Greenwich, Conn., home -- after she reputedly saw tabloid photos of her estranged husband on a trip to Canada with an exotic Swedish dancer he met while taping his show. Grace had no comment.
