"The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart, 37, broke everybody up -- and said he broke something -- at a Manhattan press conference yesterday to announce the 8th annual Toyota Comedy Festival, the largest such fest of its kind, to take place in New York June 1-10. Among the events scheduled all over the city will be stand-up performances, the premiere of the movie "Advice from a Caterpillar" with Andy Dick, and a June 8 Stewart comedy show at Carnegie Hall. Greeting reporters in a private conference room within the hallowed Hall, Stewart admitted, "I'm not used to playing this kind of s---house." As for those who booked him, "People of Carnegie Hall," he said, "if you wondered if that bust of Artur Rubenstein is breakable, it is. I'm sorry."
