Dangerfield's Operation

Rodney Dangerfield's mystery medical condition, which has caused his week-long hospitalization, has been revealed. The comic, 78, who complained of chest pains last week following a stand-up engagement, underwent double bypass heart surgery in Los Angeles on Tuesday, his business manager, Charles Sussman, told the Associated Press. Dangerfield is making a good recovery, Sussman added. He also stressed that Dangerfield did not suffer a heart attack and could be going home by the weekend.
