Regis's Biggest Hit

Somewhere between 150,000 to 200,000 visitors a day are dropping things on Regis Philbin's head. They're doing it online, at SmashRegis.com, a Net game that permits such items as a bag of money, Better Cheddars and Kathie Lee Gifford (herself) to go kerplunk on the head of the host of "Live!" and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." When it comes to bouncing things off Reege, Gifford is the No. 1 choice. "We thought was a fun way to critique . . . a pretty silly show," creator of the site, Adam Werbach, told USA Today. Saying that "Regis represents everything that is wrong with television today," Werbach says that the popular host is "all fake suntan, fake smile, and meaningless chatter." Regis looked none the worse for wear on Wednesday's "Live!"
