Charlie Sheen, soon to take over the lead of "Spin City," is selling his beloved -- and impressive -- baseball memorabilia collection, but it's not because he's hard up for cash. "He just didn't think at the end of the day he really needed all this stuff," a Sheen rep told the New York Post. Sheen, who starred in the baseball flicks "Eight Men Out" and "Major League," calls his collection his "own personal Cooperstown." Among the items: the only existing uniform worn by Ted Williams during his record-breaking 1941 season, a ball autographed by seven of the eight players who conspired to throw the 1919 World Series, and the 1986 World Series slow-roller involved in a play between Met Mookie Wilson and Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner. Sheen had purchased that last item in 1992 for $93,000. Leland's auction house is handling the April 27 and 28 sale.
