Gwyneth Paltrow was sued in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday by a couple that claims that the Oscar winner caused them "permanent and serious injuries" when her rental car collided with their vehicle on a West Hollywood street on April 24 of last year. Veronica Cabello and H. Jorge Arauz are reportedly seeking at least $62,000 from Paltrow and Midway Rent-a-Car to cover medical expenses and the cost of repairing their car. Representatives for Paltrow did not return phone calls to the Associated Press, but the lawsuit didn't seem to dampen Paltrow's spirits. Monday night she was belting out Rolling Stones songs at a New York fund-raiser for the Blue Light Theater Company with Stockard Channing and Phoebe Snow, reports USA Today. Then Paltrow went solo with the '70s disco anthem "I Will Survive."
