Madonna is refuting a British tabloid report about her upcoming child. The Sun had claimed that the Material Mom, who last month announced that her second child is due in September, had recently learned during a routine medical exam that the baby would be a boy. The paper also quoted Madonna, 41, as saying she was "delighted." In a brief statement issued late yesterday, Madonna said: "Despite what you may have read, including quotes falsely attributed to me, I do not know the sex of my baby and I have no plans for marriage." She also asked that her privacy be respected. "I will not be releasing any further information regarding my personal life or my pregnancy," she added. The child's father is movie director Guy Ritchie. Madonna's first child, Lourdes, was born in 1996. Her father is fitness instructor-turned-aspiring-actor Carlos Leon.
