Seinfelds Remodel, Big Time

Jerry Seinfeld and his expectant wife Jessica Sklar are doing a little remodeling on the 14-acre, $30 million spread in the Hamptons that they recently bought from Billy Joel. The New York Post reports that the two plan to have the second floor of the main house restructured and converted into a floor-thorough nursery for their child. Other additions are said to include a lavish gym and spa with a shower that spouts French mineral water through a half-dozen heads. (Sklar and Seinfeld had originally met at a neighborhood gym in Manhattan, right after she had returned from her honeymoon with her first husband.) Trophy trees would also be added to the landscaping. So far, the price of all this is estimated to be $7 million.

• In other Hamptons real estate news, there are reports that Sean "Puffy" Combs has had enough of his East Hampton neighbors complaining about his loud parties and will move to less restrictive Westhampton -- where there is also more parking room for his guests.
