ABC Banks on More 'Millionaire'
Who wants another night of "Who Want to Be a Millionaire"? ABC unveiled its new fall schedule today and announced that "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" will air four nights a week (from its current three nights a week). Among the new stars with series on ABC: Geena Davis (the sitcom "Geena"), Gabriel Byrne (sitcom "Madigan Man") and Andre Braugher (medical drama "Gideon's Crossing"). As expected, the network canceled the low-rated but critically acclaimed "Sports Night" and also dropped its TGIF schedule of teen-friendly series. One of those TGIF shows, "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," which stars Melissa Joan Hart, appears on the new WB fall lineup (see next item).
