Dana Carvey testified in San Francisco Superior Court last week in his suit against the San Francisco surgeon who performed bypass heart surgery on him in 1998. The former "Saturday Night Live" star, 44, is suing heart surgeon Elias Hanna for operating on the wrong artery during the surgery. "I remember just lying in my bed just sobbing," Carvey, who had gone under the knife to clear a blocked artery, said in court on Thursday. "I can't believe they connected it to the wrong artery." He subsequently required another angioplasty surgery to clear the blocked artery and is suing for unspecified damages, claiming that prolonged recovery time forced him to turn down offers to appear in commercials and on a TV series.
