Although the four-day Count Dracula festival in Romania wound up last weekend -- with no fatalities reported -- revelers from all over the globe, including the U.S., are still expected to descend upon Transylvania's Borgo Pass later this week for a masked ball to be held in Castle Dracula. They'll also pay a visit to the tomb of Vlad the Impaler, the bloody 16th century nobleman who inspired Bram Stoker's 1897 novel "Dracula." "Dracula represents a freedom of sexuality that is something the American society has mixed feelings about," Western New Mexico literature professor Victoria Amador told the Associated Press.
