Celine Dion will "remain in bed for few weeks of convalescence," she said in a statement released earlier this week by her publicist in response to newspaper reports that she had undergone treatment at a private New York fertility clinic. "I have no comment on that," Dion's spokeswoman told Reuters of the fertility stories. Dion, in her statement, would only admit to having undergone "two small operations," on May 25 and May 28. The French-Canadian music star, 32, who is currently on a two- to three-year sabbatical from performing, has said that it is her dream to have a child with her husband-manager, René Angelil. Angelil, 58, underwent radiation treatment for cancer last year. He reportedly had his sperm frozen before the treatment.
