Move over, Tom Green: Jerry Seinfeld is on the last leg of a cross-country road trip in which the comic is said to be collecting new material. The Associated Press reports that Jerry was setting out in a 1973 VW Beetle from New York to Albuquerque, N.M., when he decided to detour into Branson, Mo. On Tuesday he caught singer Bobby Vinton's show, and "was somewhat overwhelmed by it and surprised by how sophisticated the facilities are," Chris Vinton, son of Bobby, told AP. Meanwhile, New York's Daily News is also clocking Jerry's journey. The paper reports that he is traveling with buddy Bruce Marder, a writer (which gives further credence to the claim that Seinfeld's collecting material), and was spotted in Kentucky on Thursday. The guys are expected to return to New York on Saturday.
