Prince William's royal coat of arms was revealed in London over the weekend and includes tributes to his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, his father Prince Charles and his late mother Princess Diana. The Diana touch can be found in the emblem's small red escallop shell derived from the Spencer coat of arms, which dates back to the 16th century, reports the Associated Press. William insisted upon its inclusion, and his decision was approved by his grandmother and father. "It is something that Prince William and his family wanted to do," said Peter Gwynne-Jones, who prepares coats of arms on behalf of the Royal Family.
