Mike Myers is expected to countersue today in the ongoing brouhaha over the abandoned movie "Dieter," based on one of his "Saturday Night Live" characters. Both Universal Studios and Imagine Entertainment have sued the "Austin Powers" star for breach of contract following his decision last month to walk away from the project; Universal for $5 million and Imagine for $30 million. Variety reports that Myers, in turn, will file a lawsuit alleging fraud, assault and invasion of privacy (stemming from the way a process server served Myers with Universal's papers). Myers contends that fraud is involved because he was led to believe that he had total approval over the "Dieter" script, says the paper.
