Fake Britney Leads to Trouble
An upstate New York radio station faked an appearance by Britney Spears this week and 100 people greeted the impostor -- but the party ended when one of the folks in the crowd suffered a heart attack. Investigators in Broome County told the Associated Press that someone pretending to be Britney appeared for an interview on WMRV-FM, then got into a limo outside of the station. A 37-year-old woman, whose name was not released, witnessed the event, went into cardiac arrest and was taken to a local hospital, said police, who are now looking into the circumstances leading up to the victim's collapse.
