"Survivor," move over. As part of their deal to develop a TV project for Miramax Films, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will reportedly spearhead a new reality show for HBO in which some aspiring filmmaker will be handed approximately $1 million to direct a first feature. The show, to be called "Greenlight," will document over the course of 13 half-hour episodes the development of the movie, says the Hollywood Reporter. Damon and Affleck will select the finalist whose project gets to be made. The contest is slated to begin this fall, with the selection of the film script and preproduction to commence in early 2001. The big premiere of the finished film should take place in early 2002.
